Banner Card Design

I love crafts!  I love making cards, quilts, scrap booking, and all kinds of other creative things.  Most of the time inspiration just hits and I work on something like crazy.  Then I get bored with it and don't touch crafts for months.  I just came out of the "no craft slump" and decided to throw together a couple greeting cards.  One of them I made I call the "Banner" card.

Step 1:  I picked some cool double sided paper.  I like to use double sided paper for greeting cards because then the inside is pretty too!

Step 2:  I trimmed the label edge off the paper, folded it in half and cut it in the right dimensions for a small greeting card.

Step 3:  I cut a rectangle piece of "Congratulations" paper and attached it near the middle of the card.

Step 4:  I cut a piece of red paper in the shape of a banner and attached it to toward the left of the card.

Step 5:  I found some cute buttons to jazzy up the card a bit.

I did write anything on the front of the card because I'm going to wait until I need it to add something.  I'm thinking I will use it for a new baby, graduation, or job promotion card.

**NOTE: I ended up giving this card to a friend of my who is starting a new business venture.**
