Week #2 Challenge: Make a Craft Every Day

The challenge for this week is make more crafts.  I am going to try and make one craft everyday for the next 7 days.  My first craft is: decorate the house for Halloween.  Ok, I know that's not really a craft, but I'll be doing crafts while decorating so, here we go.

The first thing to do is put away the summer stuff and clean up the patio.

Next are the outdoor decorations.  Lights, ghosts, and other miscellaneous stuff.  It doesn't look like much during the day, but when the lights go out it's spooktacular!  I'm in the market for a fog machine, I thought it would be neat to have one running on Halloween night for the trick-or-treaters.

Now it's time for the front door.  I found this idea on Pinterest.  I used toilet paper as the mummy wrapping and I found the giant googly eyes at Target for $3.  I only did the top of half of the door because I used almost an entire roll of toilet paper to do the top half.  I think it still looks cute, but if I have the motivation I will finish the rest of the door.

Finally, I decorated in the apartment.  I still have to put out Halloween pillows and light more Fall candles.  As you can see I focus more on the outdoors than the indoors during Halloween.
